Hygienic Clamp Unions

Tri-clamp Unions provide a smooth internal pipework joint that is useful in hygienic industries as it is a non-contaminating fitting.

The tri-clamp unions in stock at Special Metric Materials consist of two ferrules with a seal in between that are compressed together using a clamp, providing an extremely tight seal.
The tri-clamp unions and seals are manufactured to BS 4825 part 3 in either 304 or 316 stainless steel as standard.

Tri-clamp unions are also popular as they can be easily removed from the pipework by hand using the single hinge clamp wing nut.
